THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting, highly visible role for an organised and creative Events & Marketing Executive who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working with an international audience.
Working closely with the Office/Administration Manager, you will take ownership of IAPA’s global events programme while playing a key role in marketing, communications, and member engagement. You will help shape how IAPA connects with its members—through high‑quality conferences, compelling communications, and strong relationships.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing people together, thrives in a hands‑on environment, and wants to see the direct impact of their work across a global organisation.
Both full‑time and part‑time applications are welcome (minimum 24 hours per week).

YOUR IMPACT
Events, Meetings & Conferences
You will lead the planning and delivery of IAPA’s events, ensuring a consistently professional and engaging experience for members and stakeholders worldwide.
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver virtual and in‑person events, meetings, and conferences
* Identify and manage venues, suppliers, and budgets to meet event objectives
* Oversee all event logistics, including catering, speakers, equipment hire, travel, accommodation, registrations, RSVPs, and accessibility requirements
* Act as a key point of contact for regional committees, host firms, and internal stakeholders
* Create and coordinate event materials, including brochures, presentations, speeches, and marketing collateral
* Liaise with speakers, prepare press releases, and manage event‑related website and social media content
* Evaluate event success through post‑event reviews and reporting, supporting continuous improvement
Marketing, Communications & Member Engagement
Alongside events, you will support IAPA’s wider profile‑building and member services activity.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with existing and prospective member firms
* Support initiatives that enhance IAPA’s brand, visibility, and reputation internationally
* Respond to membership enquiries and research potential new members across multiple jurisdictions
* Source and promote member success stories and case studies
* Support the production of newsletters, bulletins, CEO reports, and other publications
* Coordinate special interest group meetings and related communications
* Act as a responsive point of contact for member enquiries relating to events, marketing, PR, and general services
* Liaise with the finance team and support budgeting and administration related to events and activities
* Provide flexible administrative support to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the association

* Experience in a marketing or communications environment, including social media and design/print platforms
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
* Confidence working with international stakeholders and suppliers
* A flexible, solutions‑focused, and professional approach
* Experience managing and negotiating with external suppliers
* Strong IT skills and confidence using digital tools
* Experience working within a professional association or global organisation
* Experience supporting international or multicultural audiences
You will also be flexible to attend events outside normal working hours, including occasional weekends and overseas travel.
REPORTING LINE
The Events & Marketing Executive reports directly to the Office/Administration Manager.
