About you: The Access Group is seeking an experienced financial systems expert to fill the pivotal role of OneStream Systems Administrator. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and possess a hands-on approach to their work. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving finance best practices across the organisation, identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation, and guiding stakeholders through necessary changes. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the finance reporting practices and processes within the Access Group. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. Day-to-day, you will: • Lead, Design, Development and Deployment: Oversee the implementation of OneStream, having successfully completed phase 1, which entailed P&L and Balance Sheet consolidation. Currently advancing to phase 2, focusing on Finance Planning & Consolidation.• Maintaining OneStream Configuration: Take ownership of the OneStream platform, ensuring its configurations align with the accounting and reporting needs of the business.• Optimising Key Functionalities: Embed OneStream best practices to enhance system functionality.• Continuous Improvement: Drive the ongoing enhancement of our Global Reporting Systems (OneStream) to meet the evolving needs of the business on a global scale.• Standardising Systems and Processes: Standardise finance systems and processes across the organisation by deploying future-proof solutions aligned with industry best practices.• Enhancing User Experience: Focus on improving usability and simplifying processes to significantly impact user experience positively.• Supporting Strategic Vision: Support the vision of the Director of Finance Platforms by managing, developing, integrating, and maintaining our global finance platform across all operating companies and functions.• Modernising the Finance Ecosystem: Review and develop our finance ecosystem to support strategic growth plans, ensuring a robust and adaptable operational framework.• Improving Operational Backbone: Enhance the foundational operational systems within Finance, challenging the status quo to drive efficiency and effectiveness.• Defining Configuration Specifications: Establish and document configuration specifications and business analysis requirements for the internal finance community.• Project Management: Manage projects within your area of responsibility, coordinating work with external specialists and ensuring timely completion of objectives.• Reporting and Problem-Solving: Identify common sources of technical issues or questions and devise effective solutions to address them. Support complex production problems and ensure seamless system operation.• System Integration Processes: Assist in designing, documenting, and maintaining integration processes between OneStream and other systems/data sources, including user account management.• Month-End Close Activities: Conduct month-end close activities within OneStream to ensure accurate financial reporting.• Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive OneStream administrator and end-user documentation. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Experience with OneStream (implementation experience is desirable).• In-depth knowledge of financial processes, especially group consolidation and, ideally, FP&A• Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with a curious mindset and the ability to think critically to solve problems.• Microsoft Office Skills: Very strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with diverse audiences.• VB.NET/VBA coding; ability to analyse and modify existing code.
