About the role
Science is taught as a combined subject at KS3 and then as separate subjects at GCSE and A-Level. At GCSE, approximately 25% of the cohort follow the Triple Science option route. At A-Level, all sciences attract at least one class set of students in both the Lower and Upper Sixth. Applications are invited for the position of Teacher of Chemistry to support the Head of Science in ensuring high standards of delivery of the subject at KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and inspiring teacher with a proven track record of excellent teaching and experience of teaching Chemistry.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Science in delivering high standards of Chemistry education at KS3 and KS4.
* Provide engaging and effective lessons that motivate students and foster a positive learning environment.
* Collaborate with science faculty to coordinate curriculum delivery across key stages.
Qualifications
* Dynamic and inspiring teacher with a proven track record of excellent teaching.
* Experience of teaching Chemistry at relevant key stages.
