Fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in York.This firm have an incredible client base, gaining many clients through recommendations and referrals. This prominent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients, priding themselves in offering a well-rounded approach. Giving you the opportunity to gain vast experience and keep your work balanced and interesting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:
* Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
* Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns.
* Complete VAT returns.
To be successful applicant for this Accountant role, ideally you should meet the following:
* Have at least 3+ years’ experience as an Accountant in an Accountancy Practice.
* Be studying or qualified in AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
* Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.
