As a Senior Lettings Advisor, you'll play a key role in making this a reality for our customers. You'll support the Team Leader in managing day-to-day operations across your locality patch, with partial line management responsibilities for new colleagues. You'll lead on marketing, lettings, and allocations of homes, ensuring compliance with policy and legislation, and delivering a fair, transparent process for our customers. What you'll be doing: Mentoring and inducting new team members Supporting training and development across the team Providing cover for the Team Leader and Lettings Advisors during absence Leading on complex cases and shaping the lettings service Managing property shortlists and nominations in line with policy Carrying out verification and credit checks Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure effective allocations Minimising rental income loss by achieving re-let targets Representing the organisation at stakeholder meetings and events Communicating with customers using a coaching approach to build trust and achieve positive outcomes. What you'll bring: Minimum 3 years' experience in a frontline lettings role Strong knowledge of lettings and allocations policies and housing legislation Experience working with vulnerable customers and resolving sensitive issues Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer handling skills High level of resilience and emotional intelligence Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing systems This position is subject to a basic DBS check. Regular home working is available.
