Hours of Work: 5:00 am – 6:00 am start times, Monday to Friday; no weekends or overnight stays.
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering our timber products across the London area while providing outstanding customer service in line with our Good Driver Code. With the support of our Warehouse Team loading up your vehicle, you’ll have everything you need to hit the road confidently—just secure the load, carry out your safety checks, and deliver excellence throughout your day. Your duties will include multi-drop deliveries, customer interactions, curtain pulling, securing loads, checking paperwork, and performing daily vehicle checks.
Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements
* 2 or more years of 26 tonne driving experience
* Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
* CPC qualified
* Strong commitment to customer service
* Ability to perform manual handling safely
Class 2 HGV Driver Benefits
* Salary around £18.75 per hour for an average of 40 hours per week, equating to £39,000 per annum for consistent monthly pay
