We are a stable, fully staffed, supportive teaching practice in the village of Edzell within the boundaries of northeast Angus. Situated within commuting distance of both Dundee and Aberdeen, locals can take advantage of the proximity of the Angus Glens and several stunning beaches.
Sitting on the doorstep of the Cairngorm National park, the modern purpose-built health centre lends itself perfectly to multi-disciplinary working.
Led by 4 GPs, our aim is to serve our community by providing excellent care for all patients, whilst providing a healthy working environment for our staff. We pride ourselves on the care, support and camaraderie we offer each other.
We have GPs planning retirement and are now looking for an enthusiastic GP who would fit in the team. Initial salaried position with Partnership option for 4, possibly up to 6, sessions.
Practice Profile:
1. List size of approximately 2750 patients.
2. Teaching practice for medical and nursing students as well as FY2s
3. Long Term Conditions are monitored and reviewed closely.
4. Well-established administration team.
5. Well-established Community Nursing Team who provide in house clinics and are very supportive of the house bound patients
6. Practice Pharmacist and Pharmacist Technician on site.
7. Enhanced Pharmacy Support and First Contact Physiotherapy locally
8. MDT, cluster group and weekly practice meetings.
9. Wellbeing services, Community Link Worker and Care and Treatment Centre on site.
10. Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Mental Health Hub in the locality.
11. Vision clinical system and Docman.
12. Previously high QOF achievement.
13. Very positive patient feedback.
