A prestigious Independent Day School in Cambridge is seeking a talented and inspiring Art Teacher to join their highly successful Art & Design faculty for an immediate or January start. This is a full-time, permanent position within a department renowned for creativity, high academic standards, and a genuine dedication to developing each student’s individual artistic voice. About the Role The successful candidate will teach Art across KS3–KS5, supporting students through exploratory projects at lower school and more refined, portfolio-based work at GCSE and A-Level. You will guide students through a broad range of media — including drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, digital art, and photography — depending on your own strengths and the department’s curriculum design. You will also contribute to: GCSE and A-Level portfolio development Whole-school exhibitions and curated gallery spaces Art clubs, enrichment workshops, and extension projects Partnerships with local galleries, universities, and arts organisations Students here are highly engaged, respectful, and motivated.
