Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QUALIFIED Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role involves supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives individual attention and care. A background in early childhood education or nursery experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Support children in developing basic skills through interactive play and educational activities.
* Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child\'s progress and any concerns that may arise.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive team atmosphere.
* Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Skills
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is an advantage.
* Nursery experience or qualifications in early childhood education is essential
* Excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
