Nursery Keyworker – Bognor Regis

Contract: Full time – September 2025 start
Salary: £82.20 - £110 per day
Key Responsibilities:
Providing keyworker support to a small group of children in line with EYFS framework
Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
Supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, communication, and social interaction
Monitoring progress through observations and contributing to learning journals
Working closely with parents/carers to build trust and ensure consistency of care
Helping children develop independence, self-regulation and a sense of belonging
Using play-based approaches to support children with additional needs or behaviours
Creating a calm, inclusive, and stimulating nursery environment
Qualifications & Skills:
Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above preferred)
Have experience in a nursery or EYFS setting, ideally supporting children with SEND or SEMH needs
Be patient, gentle and emotionally attuned to the needs of young children
Understand the importance of attachment, routine, and positive behaviour strategies
Communicate clearly with both children and adults
Be reliable, flexible, and a team player with a great sense of humour
Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child development
