Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 (Depending on level - Either AM or Manager)
I'm currently working with a leading tax consultancy based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager.
Your new role:
* Manage relationships with private clients, providing tailored and commercially focused tax advice
* Deliver proactive planning across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
* Advise on complex matters including residency, domicile, trusts, and offshore considerations
* Support clients on transactions such as property, investments, and business disposals from a tax perspective
* Oversee personal tax compliance, reviewing returns to ensure accuracy and timely submission
* Handle complex queries arising from compliance work and provide practical solutions
* Act as the main point of contact for HMRC enquiries, investigations, and disclosures
* Identify tax risks and ensure clients remain compliant with current legislation
* Build strong relationships with intermediaries such as financial advisers and legal professionals
* Spot opportunities to provide additional advisory services and support business development activity
* Mentor and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development
* Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
What you'll need to be successful:
* ACA, ATT, CTA or ACCA qualified
* UK private client tax experience
* Experience working with business owners and HNWIs
* Personal tax advisory & compliance experience
