A leading global technology and consulting organisation is looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect to drive innovation and digital transformation across the insurance sector. This senior client-facing role blends enterprise architecture, technology leadership, and strategic advisory; helping major insurers reimagine how data, cloud, and AI enable business growth and resilience.
The Role
* Define and deliver end-to-end architecture strategies across digital, data, and cloud platforms.
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, shaping technology-driven change.
* Lead multi-disciplinary architecture teams delivering complex transformation programmes.
* Guide the design of North Star architectures for cloud modernisation, M&A integration, and ESG-driven initiatives.
* Partner with hyperscalers and vendors to develop sector-specific solutions and accelerators

Skills & Experience
* 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, ideally within Insurance or Financial Services.
* Proven background in delivering large-scale, tech-enabled transformations for Tier-1 clients.
* Strong knowledge of cloud, data, AI, and integration architectures.
* Familiarity with leading insurance platforms such as Guidewire or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
* Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks including Solvency UK and FCA Consumer Duty.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable: Architecture certifications (TOGAF, SAFe), vendor certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), and experience mentoring architecture teams.
