Job Description
This is an opportunity to provide project support to the Financial Reporting and Control team.Responsibilities include:
3. Set up of internal control framework to ensure smooth workflow and data reporting
4. Implement improvements in data quality within the system (static, mappings, data at source, removing known workaround.)
5. Automation of reports via Power BI/Dashboards, specifically in relation to daily reports and analytical reviews
6. Implement improvements of specific daily/month end excel reports used for collation/aggregation of data
7. Improve reporting timeframes to increase efficiencies
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Accountant should have:
8. Ideally recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (can consider Qualified by Experience)
9. Experience in project accounting ideally within financial services industry.
10. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
11. Excellent EXCEL and Power BI skills
12. Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
13. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
14. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
