RDR is seeking an Underground Utility Project Manager to join our team. These utility projects are located in West Virginia and Southeast Ohio.
Job Summary:
The Project Manager will report directly to their RDR Division Manager.
Job Duties:
1. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
2. Oversee, instruct, operate, and participate in the installation of water lines, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utility lines, including all fittings and appurtenances. Must have knowledge of installation, testing, and restoration procedures.
3. Answer technical questions from the onsite project manager.
4. Lead production improvements for crews.
5. Schedule daily work with onsite supervisors.
6. Communicate effectively with the Project Superintendent and customers, and resolve issues.
7. Track progress, provide schedule updates, and manage RFIs with the customer.
8. Identify work outside of scope and notify the division manager prior to work being performed.
9. Prioritize safety while maintaining efficiency, production, and controlling job costs.
10. Coordinate subcontractor work and material deliveries.
11. Work schedule typically 4 days/week, with potential for 5-6 days if necessary.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of utility project experience.
* Storm drain installation: 4 years
* Water line installation: 4 years
* Sewer line installation: 4 years
* Willing to travel anywhere in WV and OH.
* Company vehicle, computer, and phone provided.
Pay is based on experience and prior work history.
