This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planning professional who can hit the ground running, take ownership of complex caseloads, and play a key role in shaping large-scale development across the district. What they’re looking for: A minimum of 10 years' experience in Development Management at Senior Planner level or above Strong local authority experience Proven ability in managing strategic/major planning applications Confident presenting complex cases at Planning Committee and responding to Member queries Skilled in stakeholder engagement with agents, parish/town councils, and elected Members A self-starter, able to work independently and manage a busy caseload with minimal supervisionThis is a hybrid role with on-site presence required as necessary for site visits and meetings.
