About Us Ellis Mather Group is a growing portfolio of e-commerce and manufacturing businesses headquartered in the East Midlands. As we continue to grow both organically and through acquisition, we are looking to strengthen our finance function and support the day-to-day operations across the Group. The Opportunity We are seeking a part-time Accounts Assistant to support the finance team across multiple businesses within the Group. This role is part-time and starts at circa 16 hours per week. This role will support a range of accounting and administrative activities, helping ensure financial records, supplier accounts and internal processes are maintained accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is organised, dependable and enjoys working within a varied and fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities Processing supplier invoices and maintaining purchase ledger records. Supporting payment runs and supplier account reconciliation. Assisting with sales ledger administration and customer account queries. Supporting bank reconciliations and general financial administration. Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems. Assisting with credit control and monitoring outstanding balances. Supporting the wider finance team with month-end and reporting activities. Providing general administrative support where required. About You You’ll excel in this role if you: Have previous experience within an accounts or finance administration role. Are highly organised with strong attention to detail. Are comfortable working with numbers and financial systems. Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and suppliers. Can manage workload effectively and work proactively. Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Have experience using accounting or ERP systems (advantageous but not essential).
