Join Guidant as we collaborate with the world's largest aircraft manufacturer, Airbus. We are seeking Toolmakers to join Airbus' team at the Broughton site, within the Wing Build Production section.
If you have experience in a similar role, you are invited to join us at Airbus and work on technically intricate components of aircraft wings.
About the role
* Reactively maintain tooling to support production
* Proactively maintain critical path tooling and jigs to meet build schedules
* Work with the Metrology team using Laser Trackers and CMM instruments to check and certify tooling
* Support measurements for AC concession data and acceptance checks
Flexible shift options
* Double Days: Week 1 - 06:00 to 13:10, Week 2 - 13:30 to 20:40 (Mon to Fri)
* Nights: 20:45 to 06:00 (Mon to Thurs)
Who are we looking for?
Applicants should have completed a full Apprenticeship in Toolmaking and hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
