Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Plant Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal.
Duties
* Perform MIG and Stick welding on a variety of materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
* Carry out maintenance & repair on plant & Agri equipment
* Fabricate components using hand tools and power tools, following technical drawings and specifications.
* Assemble parts and structures, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.
* Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Skills
* Proficient in MIG welding, Stick welding, and general welding techniques.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal.
* Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.

Pay: £12.22-£23.32 per hour
