CNC Miller / Setter Crewkerne, Somerset Day Shift Hours - Monday to Friday - 39 hours Overtime Potential £16.00 per hour Permanent Postion Immediate Start Our client in Crewkerne, Somerset is looking for an experienced CNC Mill Setter who will be responsible for setting and operating 2,3 and 32 axis mills, producing small to medium batches. Responsibilities: * Set and operate CNC Milling machines. Programming experience is advantage but not essential. * Inspect finished parts using various measuring instruments and conduct 1st off inspections on other machines. * Confidence in adjusting machine settings with minimal supervision * Maintain tooling, replace inserts as needed * Complete deburring operations as described * Perform basic machine maintenance * Operating overhead cranes – training will be provided Requirements and Skills: * Minimum 2 years previous experience operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls * Ability to work independently and as part of a small team * Understanding technical drawings * Adherence to health and safety regulations * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Additional benefit: * Quarterly profit bonus scheme (after successful probationary period) Benefits: * Company clothing provided * Company pension * On-site parking * Sick pay * Annual holiday entitlement of 25 days bank holidays * 6 free hot drinks a day For more information please call Nick Graff at our Poole branch
