We imagine, design and create a range of luxury lighting, which we proudly assemble here in the UK. We successfully sell and distribute our lights throughout the UK and export to more than 60 countries worldwide.
To optimise our customer’s experience and support our sales growth, we are currently seeking a Customer Service Executive to be based at our Islington office and showroom in London to support our sales team.
The Role

• Being presentable and professional, you will provide support to our UK & Global Sales teams.
• Primarily, you will be managing customer service issues and supporting our sales team.

• Additionally, you will provide cover for the sales areas when your colleagues are traveling on business or meeting with clients, and when they are on annual leave; ensuring that our daily business continues to function effectively.
Candidate

• Have the ability to read a situation and understand what needs to be solved whilst communicating in a calm, professional and concise manner.
• Has experience within the lighting or interiors industry with the ability to gain technical understanding, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Take a hands-on approach to all aspects of the role, always seek to provide a high level of Customer service to resolving issues.
• Be the first receiver for any customer service issues to ensure a satisfactory conclusion.
• Liaise with sales, design engineering, supply chain, production, quality and logistics departments to solve the customer issue.
• Use and update our CRM and MRP systems making sure that all data is kept up do date.
• You will also be trained in sales admin (raising quotes requesting balance payments, and dispatching orders to ensure continuity).
• Provide general sales administration support to the department.
Skills & Experience
• Clear and confident communicator, high level of numeracy and literacy in English.
• Strong problem-solving skills by resolving customer issues quickly and accurately.
• Excellent verbal communication; you will be expected to converse with customers via phone.
• A professional proficiency in a 2nd language would be advantageous, as would a passion for Design.
• Proven ability to work with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• We value organisational skills and the ability to manage situations to successful conclusions.
• We expect excellent timekeeping and ability to meet deadlines, whilst managing your own workload.
• We would prefer you to understand a CRM system. Our CRM platform is Prospects, a working knowledge of this platform would be a distinct advantage.
• Some experience in the design industry and an understanding of product (ideally lighting). Full training will be given on products (material and technical) both in London and at our Assembly facility in Halesowen.
• Excellent computer and administration skills, including Microsoft Office suite of applications.

• Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 15:30pm
• Hybrid working is available after successful completion of your six-month probationary period. Leading to a minimum of 3 days in the office, with the remainder of the working week being worked remotely unless business needs require otherwise.
• We offer 20 days holiday (Plus Statutory Bank Holidays), increasing by one day for every two years of service up to an additional 5 days holiday.
