We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join the team base at our site in Chartham Kent Main Purpose of the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery and equipment performance across all packhouses, to minimise downtime and ensure production runs smoothly. Key Areas of Responsibility: Perform planned and reactive maintenance on all packing and grading equipment. Keep machinery clean and in good working order in compliance with hygiene and BRC standards. Record maintenance activities accurately in the system and submit documentation within required timescales. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, reporting issues promptly. Support team flexibility by covering shifts as needed. What we are looking for: Previous experience in engineering or maintenance, ideally within a food production environment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Computer literacy and awareness of food safety requirements.
