Centre Administrative Officer - STARTING 1st SEPTEMBER
* Annual Salary: £26,595.67 - £29,849.10 (FTE £30,279.00 – £33,983.00)

* Job Type: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Term Time Plus 4 weeks
We are seeking a Centre Administrative Officer to maintain an efficient and welcoming reception area, ensuring the safe and secure entrance and exits of all students, staff, and visitors. This role requires a professional individual who can manage multiple administrative responsibilities while upholding the high standards of the College.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Greet and address enquiries from students, staff, and visitors in a polite, friendly, and professional manner at the centre reception.
* Coordinate safe entrance and exits at all doors, ensuring all individuals are signed in and out, and prevent unauthorized access.
* Adhere to safeguarding procedures, including checking IDs of taxi drivers/escorts and verifying escort and transport arrangements.
* Handle enquiries related to the day-to-day operations of the College and liaise with other college sites.
* Manage the College's Management Information System (MIS) for student information.
* Oversee the receipt and distribution of all internal and external post.
* Manage office diaries, room bookings, and monitor general stock and stationery levels.
* Assist with general administrative duties as directed, including meeting minutes, managing petty cash, and supporting event administration like Parents' Evening.
* Liaise with HR for pre-employment checks and support the administration of interviews and DBS renewals.
* Ensure compliance with College policies, including safeguarding, GDPR, and Health & Safety.
* Support the management of petty cash and Oyster cards, ensuring all processes are followed and discrepancies are addressed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
* Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of people.
* Proficiency in using educational MIS and office software.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and data protection regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, across multiple sites.
* Flexibility to cover and work at other centres as required.
