Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced GCSE English Tutor to work with pupils who are not currently in a mainstream classroom setting. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can provide tailored support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver one-to-one or small-group tuition in GCSE English Language and Literature.
2. Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
3. Support students in developing confidence in reading, writing, and analytical skills.
4. Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
Requirements:
1. Experience tutoring or teaching English at GCSE level.
2. A strong understanding of SEN and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
3. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students with diverse educational needs.
4. A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
