Senior Business Development Manager – HR SaaS (Public Sector) Remote (with 2 days/month in Edinburgh HQ) £45,000 – £60,000 Basic & £90,000 - £120,000 OTE Are you a skilled B2B SaaS sales professional looking for a meaningful solution to stand behind? We’re recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing SaaS company based in Edinburgh that provides a fully integrated, cloud-based HR case management system —specifically designed for HR Managers and Directors to bring consistency, control, and compliance to sensitive HR processes. This is a remote-based role with occasional travel to the Edinburgh HQ (approx. twice per month). The Opportunity As Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in scaling this innovative platform into new clients—particularly across the Public Sector. This is not a transactional sale; it's consultative and relationship-driven, often involving multiple stakeholders and a slightly longer sales cycle. But the solution sells well—it’s proven, highly effective, and significantly more affordable than most competitors in the space. What You’ll Be Selling A complete HR case management solution covering: Grievances, disciplinaries, wellness, and health cases Fully documented, legally compliant casework processes UK-hosted, secure, cloud-based platform Developed in partnership with HR professionals Designed to ensure fair treatment, consistent handling, and data-driven decisions The established product & business has had consistently outstanding feedback, compelling case studies, and is making a big impact in multiple organisations, which is why we feel Public Sector or Enterprise Level experience is an advantage. What We’re Looking For You will be a motivated, self-sufficient sales professional with: A background in SaaS / software sales Experience in longer sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers Exposure to or success in selling into the Public Sector (desirable) Or alternatively success in selling into Enterprise Level businesses (desirable) Ability to consult, advise, and tailor a tech solution to HR needs A strategic approach to pipeline building and account development What’s on Offer £45,000 – £60,000 basic salary (OTE is double your salary) Excellent commission and bonus scheme (highly competitive and uncapped) Remote working, with occasional Edinburgh HQ visits Be part of a growing, values-driven business making a real impact in HR Sell a secure, UK-hosted, intuitive, and genuinely best-in-class product Why This Role?
