Overview
Commercial Finance FP&A and Pricing Analyst role supporting the Global Commercial Operations (GCO) organization within the Clinical Diagnostics Division. Responsible for ownership of Commercial Finance planning cycles, financial analysis across the GCO organization, and pricing processes to influence pricing decisions and drive strategies, processes, and systems for standard pricing methods.
Key Responsibilities
* Support WW Commercial Finance planning cycles including Pulse check, monthly FCST, MBR/QBR and AOP
* Manage the EEMEA Commercial Finance planning cycles, coordinating with Regional Commercial leaders for monthly FCST, MBR/QBR, and AOP
* WW funnel and commercial opportunities analysis
* Commercial Finance Opex and headcount forecast and analysis
* Support on commercial presentations
* Identify and craft price improvement projects and implement key methods and tools
* Lead daily pricing operations such as maintenance of list prices and discount matrix
* Actively work on process improvement to enhance existing processes
* Develop, automate, and scale data analytics and data visualization to measure business performances, including pricing effectiveness, share gain, customer acquisition/retention, win/loss, etc.
* Own in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for price growth and expansion; provide trends, observations, insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
* Establish, improve, and maintain tools to support pricing decisions, win/loss analysis, predictive modeling, and other critical analyses
* Partner with the commercial team on frequent pricing requests to drive realized price and ensure accurate approvals per approval matrix
* Perform ad hoc data analysis for business around customer, product, and market dynamics
Qualifications
* BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or related field desired
* More than 5 years of direct experience with strategic ownership in developing new pricing approaches
* Experience in Finance Functions of a multinational publicly traded company, preferably in Healthcare or FMCG
* In Vitro Diagnostics experience valuable
* Detail oriented, organized and analytical problem solver with strong commercial orientation and a passion for pricing strategies and handling large data sets
* Proven ability to operate independently with broad mentorship against defined objectives; able to prioritize multiple projects and demonstrate creativity in presenting ideas
* Proficient in SAP, Power BI, Cognos, Excel, etc.
* Ability to identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through practical-process improvement
