We are seeking a Pharmacy Counter (Healthcare) Assistant who is motivated, enthusiastic and flexible to work in our pharmacy.
We are looking for a hire as follows:
Mondays and Fridays 9.00am-6.15pm and alternate Saturdays 9-12.
Please note the hourly rate advertised is applicable to 21 yrs old and over. Salary will be dependent on age and experience.
Pharmacy Assistants core duties will include, but will not be limited to:
* Driving sales. This is a key feature of the job whereby candidates need to be motivated to upsell, link sell and enjoy a challenge
* Promotion and sharing of Pharmacy NHS and Private services
* Enjoy helping customers across the medicine counter
* Participating in the Healthy Living promotion and pharmacy services so our clients get the best experience
* As the first point of contact for clients, except prescriptions at reception and direct to the dispensary to process
* Organise product displays, window displays and arrange all ordering and stock for the shop floor
* Maintaining shop cleanliness, date checking.
* Flexible to cover sickness and holiday absence
Sales driven, promptness, patience, trust and excellent communication and listening skills are all valuable attributes.
If you are not a qualified pharmacy counter assistant training will be provided by the company, which will need to be completed in order to be certified as a trained healthcare assistant.

If you are a qualified dispenser you are welcome to apply for this role, however your role will be on the counter. If you already trained on the pharmacy counter please apply within.

Expected hours: 16.5 – 19.5 per week
