Hostel Assistant – Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel

Location: Cairngorm Lodge Youth Hostel, PH22 1QY
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until 18 Oct 2026, starting ASAP.
Hours per week: 22.5 hours
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Accommodation: live‑out position.

Responsibilities
* Full reception service, check‑in/out, handling customer enquiries.
* Cleaning and housekeeping duties.
* Basic catering tasks.
* Adaptable to changing workloads and priorities during busy periods.
* Communicate well with guests and support co‑workers; some team members live in the hostel.
Qualifications
* One satisfactory reference.
* Recent Basic Disclosure clearance.
* Evidence of right to work in the UK.
* Excellent communication skills and a teamwork‑oriented approach.
* Adaptability and the ability to handle changing priorities.
