Job Purpose
To monitor and record product quality. Internal auditing of systems to ensure compliance with the requirements of the quality management system.
Hours
Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Shift pattern and working hours will be discussed in the interview.
Responsibilities & Requirements
1. Ensure that all food safety, GMP, and QC checks are being carried out on the line as specified in work instructions, HACCP, and process control documents.
2. Carry out hourly checks on the production lines.
3. Carry out temperature checks on fridges, chillers, and freezers at prescribed frequency as per work instructions.
4. Issue and review all process control and safety check sheets daily.
5. Report issues to the relevant person(s).
6. Collect and collate samples for shelf-life testing.
7. Hold daily taste panels and conduct final inspections, including completing QAS on samples.
8. Take samples for lab analysis and arrange collection.
9. Carry out daily calibration of temperature probes and weighing scales.
10. Conduct monthly audits of glass, brittle & hard plastics, ceramic, and similar materials.
11. Collate trial information and assist with the creation and updating of internal specifications.
12. Assist with the investigation of customer complaints.
13. Ensure good manufacturing practices, food safety, quality, and health and safety are always maintained.
14. Assist with hygiene procedures, including line release after cleaning (e.g., rapid swabbing).
15. Perform CCP verifications on lines (gas, metals, cooling, cooking, etc.).
16. Ensure stock in use follows the principle ‘FIRST IN, FIRST OUT’.
17. Conduct process validations/verifications on line daily and weekly, or as requested by the manager.
18. Assist with internal audits.
19. Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by a manager.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Good level of English (writing, reading, listening).
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
3. Knowledge of food safety and quality, gained through previous experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods or food-related education.
4. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
