We’re now on the hunt for a talented Head Pizza Chef to help shape this journey from day one. If you love pizza, thrive in fast-paced kitchens, and want to build something exciting from the ground up, you’ll fit right in.

Position Overview

This isn’t just another kitchen role — it’s your chance to take the lead.

As our Head Pizza Chef, you’ll be at the heart of the operation: leading the kitchen, setting standards, developing menus, and building a team that delivers consistently excellent food at pace. You’ll bring both creativity and structure, ensuring every service runs smoothly while keeping quality front and centre.

Key Responsibilities

Menu Development: Develop and execute our core menu while creating seasonal specials that keep things fresh and exciting. Stay ahead of trends and bring new ideas to the table.

Food Preparation & Presentation: Deliver consistently high-quality dishes with attention to detail and pride in every plate.

Quality Control: Maintain exceptional standards across taste, consistency, and presentation.

Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.

Staff Supervision & Training: Recruit, train, and lead your team — creating a positive, high-performing kitchen culture.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full adherence to food safety and health & safety regulations at all times.

Cost Control: Manage food costs, reduce waste, and contribute to strong financial performance.

Collaboration: Work closely with management on events, specials, and new ideas.

Customer Engagement: Occasionally step out to connect with guests, gather feedback, and represent the brand.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or catering environment
* Strong pizza-making experience (preferred)
* Experience in staff recruitment, training, and team leadership
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Solid understanding of food safety and H&S standards
* Strong stock management and product costing experience
* Creative mindset with a genuine passion for food
* Ability to thrive under pressure
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
