The Insurance Risk & Regulation Team focuses on delivering sustainable benefits to clients through enhancing business decisions based on improved and effective risk management.
The opportunity
Our objective is to be market-leading in supporting the delivery of the CRO and CCO’s agenda. The team offers both breadth and depth in Regulatory / Compliance and Risk Management initiatives, from advising on specific elements of the Conduct or Risk Management Frameworks to delivering full Risk and Compliance Transformation programs in collaboration with multiple EY Teams.
Your key responsibilities
As a Manager, your typical engagements include designing or reviewing:
* Governance arrangements
* Control frameworks
Depending on your focus, responsibilities may also include:
* Compliance Target Operating Model
* Compliance Monitoring
* Conduct frameworks
* Control frameworks
* Governance arrangements
* MI & Reporting
You will:
* Contribute to EY findings, conclusions, and recommendations in writing or verbally
* Support analysis of emerging issues and development of EY propositions
* Lead small teams in insurance engagements, managing engagement planning and delivery
* Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and updating senior staff
* Mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback
* Support bids and proposals to grow client relationships

Minimum qualifications
* Experience in Risk & Compliance within a General or Life Insurer’s team or delivering Risk & Regulatory services in advisory firms
* Knowledge of Risk Management Frameworks in insurers
* Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory environment impacting insurers
