Business Development Executive
Visualization is a technology distributor and solution provider with a strong engineering heritage. We are uniquely placed to support the market to specify, design and deliver products and solutions.
We are looking for someone with a proven background in business development, ideally within the Audio Visual/Information Technology / Office Fit Out space. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with people at all levels to ensure sales opportunities are maximised to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. It is essential that you are self-motivated, with the tenacity to maximise on leads and new business opportunities. This high-energy role focuses on outbound telephone sales and visits, relationship building, and account management, aimed at maximising sales revenue and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time permanent role, of 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
The salary will be negotiable for the right candidate and will be eligible for commission, subject to achieving targets.
Responsibilities & accountabilities:
* Achieve and exceed sales growth target that are part of the business plan. This is aligned with leading the business development function, setting clear goals and delivering on agreed commercial targets.
* Manage and be accountable for the Sales pipeline and be responsible for accurate reporting and forecasting.
* Selling both products and services as well as complete projects to new & existing customers.
* Identify new (cold) business opportunities via multiple methods i.e. frameworks, researching the external market, utilisation of personal network, networking events, word of mouth, etc.
* Managing the Internal Business Development Sales team daily ensuring their focus is aligned with company goals along and their close collaboration with other teams to align business strategy and opportunities.
* Be an ambassador for the company working with and across end users, industry specifiers and consultants as well as Channel integrators.
* Recording prospects and all client activity in CRM system and following up as appropriate.
* Analysing market trends and competitor activity, reporting internally to the team as appropriate and from which, help identify strategic partnerships to unlock new revenue streams
Requirements:
· Proven track record in business development, sales leadership or commercial strategy
· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
· A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
· Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a growth mindset
· Team Player that demonstrates excellent listening and mentoring skills
Ideal candidate:
· Basic Understanding of the audio-visual industry
· Not afraid to pick up the phone & demonstrate confidence whilst making calls.
· A proven performance history in increasing sales and revenue within a business
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Good organisation and IT skills
· Attention to detail
