What are we looking for
At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Warehouse Operative for our Distribution Center located in Sheffield, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
What you will do
* Unloading of Shipments, and ensure goods are in good condition and stored correctly with Warehouse Management System, and ensure the correct material is received to site.
* Thoroughly inspecting merchandise for any damages and discrepancies.
* Maintaining an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed.
* Helping Perform Stock Checks and Management of the Material to ensure its correct.
* Use of Gantry Crane to move and store Material.
* Using forklifts, hand carts, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly.
* Processing of Customer Sample Requests, Packaging and Preparation of these for internal and external clients.
* Strategically storing merchandise to maximize storage space within the warehouse.
* Promptly processing distribution orders or requests, which includes retrieving specified merchandise from storage as well as packing, sealing, and labeling merchandise accordingly.
What you need to succeed
Experience:
* Experience in a similar role at least 1 year is desirable.
Knowledges:
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment (crane, forklift, etc...).
* Heavy Truck license is a plus.
* At least High School ideally
