Integrated Care Clinician (Paramedic)
The post holder will undertake telephone triage assessments of patients efficiently.
They will advise the most appropriate intervention to meet patient needs, using best clinical practice and adhering to Trust policies, protocols, and guidelines.
Work autonomously, assessing and advising callers within established guidelines.

This role offers the opportunity to deliver excellent patient care without the physical demands of hands-on care, in a non-patient-facing environment, focusing on prudent health management.
NHS 111 Wales is leading in enhancing urgent and emergency care for the Welsh population, both online and via phone.
Our team includes Call Handlers, Nurses, Paramedics, Data Analysts, working alongside GPs, Pharmacists, and Mental Health Practitioners.
This dynamic role leverages your clinical assessment skills to assist a wide range of patients—from minor ailments to complex urgent conditions—and develop remote clinical decision-making skills.
As a Band 6 Triage and Assessment Paramedic, you will have decision-making autonomy, supported by experienced senior clinicians, practice coaches, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Our highly trained teams collaborate with urgent care GPs and pharmacists to address Wales's urgent care needs. Working with NHS 111 Wales allows you to make a meaningful difference in people's lives and health, engaging with thousands of patients weekly.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
