Within the Corporate Service Centre, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service to our Corporate and Commercial customers.
Role Overview
As a Customer Service Executive, you will support our Corporate & Commercial customers and Relationship Teams with daily banking through channels like Telephone, Email & Secure Message.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicing inbound calls and emails from customers, internally and externally, either directly or by liaising with other departments, including escalating issues or complaints as per process.
* Using various systems to ensure all queries are fully answered and accounts are accurately updated.
* Performing high-value transactions on customer accounts.
* Achieving KPIs such as Quality Assurance and AHT targets.
* Displaying Santander’s 5 Teams behaviours aligned with the Client Services ethos.
Candidate Requirements
* Ability to treat each customer individually and provide tailored responses.
* Capability to work within procedural guidelines.
Preferred Skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, including listening, questioning, and showing empathy.
* Numerical and computer skills with high dexterity.
* Flexibility across operating hours.
* Right to work in the UK.
Additional Information
This role is based in Glasgow with a hybrid working pattern, requiring at least 12 days per month in the office. Shift patterns are rotational Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:30. We welcome discussions about part-time or job-share options during recruitment.
