Overview
This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic Education Team. The post holder will work with the Violence Reduction Training Team in the responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of Personal Safety, Search, Violence Reduction and Physical Intervention training programme across the Trust. The post holder will support the Senior Violence Reduction Trainer to deliver safe practice via the SABP bespoke training model. The post holder will support the Violence Reduction Lead, to identify the need for and advise on the level of, training and support required within specific areas. The post holder will assist in the delivery of a dynamic training programme which promotes confidence, competence and safety within a training environment to minimise risk, injury and trauma to both staff and the people who use our services. The role will predominantly deliver training for a minimum of 2 days up to 4 days of the week. Be responsible for observing and risk assessing to make evidence based recommendations to ensure good practice and promote safer services. Excellent verbal communication skills are required with the confidence and ability to present to all levels of the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Deliver all aspects of Personal Safety, Search, Violence Reduction and Physical Intervention training programme across the Trust, in collaboration with the Violence Reduction Training Team.
* Support the Senior Violence Reduction Trainer to deliver safe practice via the SABP bespoke training model.
* Support the Violence Reduction Lead to identify training needs and advise on the level of training and support required within specific areas.
* Assist in delivering a dynamic training programme that promotes confidence, competence and safety, minimising risk, injury and trauma to staff and people who use our services.
* PREDominantly deliver training for 2 to 4 days per week.
* Observe and risk assess to make evidence-based recommendations to ensure good practice and promote safer services.
* Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence and ability to present to all levels of the organisation.
