This role is within PwC's Risk line of service within the Financial Services practice. Across PwC and within Risk, we work with our clients to help them solve their biggest challenges and to do work that matters.
Our Risk division has big aspirations for growth over the next 3 years and beyond. Within our Financial Services practice, the Banking Conduct team will contribute to this growth and is looking for passionate and experienced individuals with an innovation and growth mindset to be a part of this journey.
What your days will look like:
As a Senior Associate, you will be a part of the team delivering client solutions and offerings which help our retail banking clients manage their conduct risks and deliver good customer outcomes. This is a growth priority for our business, and therefore provides a unique opportunity to be at the centre of growing our retail banking conduct proposition at a time of significant change across the industry.
You will have a client-facing role working as part of our delivery teams on client engagements and coaching junior staff.
Typical projects in our team include:
1. Consumer Duty and Regulatory reforms
2. Non-financial risk transformation
3. Consumer credit and lending practices
4. Regulatory authorisations and licensing
This role is for you if you have:
5. Experience working within financial services, specifically regarding non-financial and conduct risk and/or controls either from a consulting, industry or regulatory perspective
6. Proven track record of successfully supporting teams across project work-streams Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with a good track record of dealing with clients
7. Strong oral and written communication skills (ie report writing)
8. The ability to apply good judgement and to robustly support conclusions reached to more senior level personnel both internally and externally
9. Commercial awareness of retail banking business models; sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
10. An agility to effectively participate in varied projects within retail banking (with bank and non-bank clients)
11. Understanding of the customer journey/experience in a regulated retail banking environment
