Coach Park Assistant – Aylesbury
The Client Transport Team are looking to recruit a Coach Park Assistant available Monday to Friday – Term Time Only – 3.30pm to 4.30pm.
The role is to work as part of a team supervising 11‑17‑year‑old students waiting and boarding school buses in the afternoon at the Aylesbury Coach Park. The main requirement is to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the students within the coach park, and to ensure vehicles arrive and depart on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure coaches are in their allocated lane and leave at the scheduled time.
* Implement and monitor health and safety policies for the coach park.
* Answer students’ questions related to transport.
* Direct students who miss their coach back to school for alternate arrangements.
* Report any incidents to managers and school staff.
* Return lost property to schools.
Scope and Work Hours
About 1500 students and 30 vehicles use the coach park each day. This is a permanent part‑time role of 5 hours per week covering the coach park for 1 hour each weekday afternoon.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Grade 1 £25,151, pro‑rated for 5 hours per week: £3,397.90 per annum.
