We are one of the area's top Managed Technology Services Firms, seeking our next Systems Engineer. We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT professional to lead exciting projects using the latest systems and technologies to serve our clients.
As a Systems Engineer, you'll need to identify user problems promptly, develop solutions, and communicate those solutions internally and to clients, maintaining our high level of customer satisfaction. You will work on complex or emergency service tickets and projects, making you a key member of our team. You must be a self-starter, a leader, and a great problem solver.
*This is an on-site position*
The Systems Engineer Position:
* Support desktops and user issues remotely via phone, email, remote access tools, and onsite at client locations. Troubleshoot and support servers, projects, and client onboarding.
* Travel to client locations to troubleshoot, install, and maintain equipment.
* Communicate with clients to resolve support issues and relay client requests for additional services.
* Participate in meetings and train Help Desk and Field Technicians.
* Assist in developing client IT strategies.
* Support Help Desk Technicians, Field Technicians, and Field Engineers with escalated support issues as directed by the Service Coordinator or Service Manager.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
*Applicants must complete an assessment to be considered for the position.*
* Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through a test
* 5+ years of IT support experience, including 3+ years as a Field Engineer, with proven experience leading server and complex projects
* Proficiency in hardware, software, networking, servers, cloud services, and mobile devices, demonstrated through advanced tests
* Ability to work as scheduled, sitting, standing, stooping, lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs., using a keyboard, and speaking on the phone
* Ability to travel to client sites via private vehicle, hired vehicle, walking, or public transit
* Experience as a lead technician on server and workstation projects and diagnosing network issues
* Cloud, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus
* Experience with Managed Services (MSP), Connectwise, and Kaseya is a plus
