Finance Analyst
Location: Farnham (primarily office-based)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + (doe) and study support + bonus
The Business
A growing UK-based manufacturing business operating in a regulated, product-led environment. Following rapid growth, the finance function is strengthening reporting, forecasting and working capital discipline to support further scale.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this is a broad Finance Analyst role combining analytical responsibility with hands-on operational finance.
Approximately 20% of the role will involve supporting billing, accounts receivable and credit control as transaction volumes increase. The remainder focuses on reporting, forecasting, margin analysis and commercial support.
This is a role for someone comfortable operating across both analysis and core financial processes within a small, growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce regular reporting on revenue, margin and cost performance
* Maintain a rolling 12-month sales forecast
* Support quarterly forecasting and sales & operational planning
* Analyse customer and product performance to protect margin
* Work with Sales to ensure cost movements are understood and reflected in pricing
* Support billing accuracy, debtor monitoring and credit discipline
* Assist with month-end processes, including revenue recognition and project accounting
* Extract and analyse data from ERP systems (advanced Excel essential; SQL/Power BI beneficial)
The Individual
* min 3 years’ finance experience, with industry experience
* Studying towards ACCA/CIMA (part-qualified or finalist preferred)
* Experience in manufacturing, engineering or product-led businesses strongly preferred
