Teaching Personnel is recruiting Secondary School R.E. Teachers to teach Religious Education (R.E.) at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in a range of secondary schools. These R.E. teacher jobs include both short-term supply teaching and long-term Religious Education teaching roles, offering flexibility alongside opportunities for professional development.
We are seeking a passionate and reflective Secondary R.E. Teacher with a strong classroom demeanour and a commitment to delivering high-quality Religious Education. Role Responsibilities – Secondary R.E. Teacher:
* Teach Religious Education at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated R.E. lessons
* Maintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
* Assess, monitor, and support student progress in Religious Education
* Promote thoughtful discussion, ethical reasoning, and cultural awareness
Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching R.E. or Religious Studies in secondary education
* Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management skills
* Passion for R.E., philosophy, ethics, and belief systems
* Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student development
