Hoople Group is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Plumber to join our Building Maintenance Team in Herefordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for a varied and rewarding role within a professional and supportive environment.
Working across a diverse range of domestic and commercial propertiesincluding houses, offices, museums, libraries, shopping centres you will carry out both reactive and planned maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine plumbing maintenance and repairs.
Diagnose and fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and heating system faults.
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing call-outs.
This role offers variety and challenge, ensuring no two days are the same.
Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
Experience in building maintenance plumbing (public sector experience desirable)
Knowledge of water regulations and heating system.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional, approachable attitude
Desirable Qualifications: A second trade qualification, such as electrical, carpentry, or HVAC
G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
