What You Will Do:
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing bespoke product designs for aircraft cabin interior components. You'll collaborate with Program Management, customers, internal departments, and suppliers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
* Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
* Preparing test solutions and supporting qualification testing documentation
* Designing across multiple disciplines, including moulding, sheet metal, machining, cables, PCB assemblies, etc.
* 3D printing prototyping and development, prototype hands on build
* Revising documentation based on feedback from peers, customers, and certification authorities
* Conducting drawing and documentation checks
* Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
* Attending internal/external meetings and participating in offsite travel as required (minimal)

* Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
* Comfort navigating a dynamic engineering office environment
* Solid communication skills, with the confidence to contribute across all levels of the business
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* High-level expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Qualifications You Must Have:
* Degree, HNC, or HND in a relevant engineering discipline
* Product Design experience in an engineering environment
