Community Engagement Coordinator (Ref: 0137ZN)

Main duties of the job

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you will establish and maintain a strong network of local partner agencies to support and enhance the delivery of community engagement and volunteering initiatives. You will identify and develop a range of suitable volunteer placements, both internally and externally, and provide ongoing support to volunteers, Recovery Champions, peer mentors and students through regular supervision and guidance. Working closely with internal directorates, you will also contribute to corporate volunteering opportunities and the development of consistent training, structures and review processes. A key part of this role involves supporting and leading local partnerships and projects, including social enterprise initiatives. You will oversee social investment processes, ensuring effective administration, monitoring and reporting in line with organisational and funder requirements. You will collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver safe, innovative and high‑quality services, while also contributing to the development of systems, tools, processes and training packages to support community engagement.

This is a full‑time (37.5 hours per week) fixed‑term contract until March 2027. The starting salary is £27,500, rising each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £32,000 per year. For further details please reach out to a member of the recruitment team via [contact information].

Essential skills
