The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast is seeking a Professor in Scalable Data Technologies. The role involves undertaking world-leading research, developing an ambitious research agenda, and leading efforts to establish Queen’s as an international leader in research in scalable data technologies and their application to global challenges. The successful candidate will help develop a new Centre for Intelligent Sustainable Computing within EEECS, coordinating research in computer science and engineering aligned with institutional, regional, national, and international grand challenges.
The post involves conducting world-class research through mission-led programmes, enhancing student experience via research-led teaching, and contributing to the translation of research into real-world impact, including involvement in the Belfast Region City Deal to drive digital innovation in Northern Ireland.
