Role Description
We are looking for a highly driven detail focused Estimator to join our fast paced hands on team. This is a full time office based role where you will be responsible for managing multiple enquiries producing accurate costings and ensuring nothing is overlooked.
This role requires someone who can multitask effectively work under pressure and maintain precision at speed.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing and assessing tender documents and client enquiries
Scaling and measuring from drawings including PDF and CAD formats
Preparing detailed take offs and accurate cost estimates
Producing professional quotations using Microsoft Word and internal systems
Working with and interpreting CAD drawings and technical specifications
Managing and updating opportunities within CRM systems
Pricing projects competitively while maintaining high quality standards
Liaising with clients suppliers and internal teams
Handling multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
Ensuring compliance with relevant British Standards and safety regulations
What We Are Looking For
Highly organised and able to multitask in a demanding environment
Detail driven with strong accuracy and focus
Experienced using Microsoft Word CAD software and CRM systems
Comfortable working in a fast paced high pressure office
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders
Proactive hands on attitude with the ability to take ownership of workload
A team player who contributes positively to a small close knit team
Qualifications and Experience
Strong analytical and numerical skills for producing detailed estimates
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience working to deadlines and managing multiple projects
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Experience with estimation software and tools preferred
Background in construction access systems or safety solutions advantageous
Familiarity with British Standards related to working at height desirable
Bachelors degree or relevant technical qualification preferred
