Our client is a world famous branding agency network working with some of the most recognisable brand names in the world. They are seeking an established Design Director with deep expertise in brand identity and corporate branding. This is a role for someone who has already mastered the level, understands the momentum and expectations of a leading creative network, and thrives in the fast pace of major brand work.
This person will be the engine room of the creative team. Confident, decisive and highly collaborative. A strategic powerhouse with impeccable craft. A mentor who raises the standard of everyone around them. A Design Director who not only leads but accelerates the creative ambition of the studio.
The Role
As Design Director you will serve as a team captain and master of your craft, elevating everything around you. You will challenge conventions, spark innovation and protect the creative integrity of the brands you work with. You will guide designers to create category redefining work and help clients understand the power and purpose behind great brand design.
You will bring an unwavering passion for consumer branding and packaging, with a strong instinct for what resonates with audiences today and what will shape categories tomorrow. You will be curious, culturally aware and unafraid to bring bold perspectives that influence both your clients and your team.
The Stuff You'll Do
* Be at the heart of the strategic and creative direction of brand projects and ensure the delivery of exceptional solutions.
* Produce category-breaking creative expressed across every point of connected experience.
* Communicate brand strategy through compelling stories, clear thinking and smart design systems.
* Build strong client relationships, understanding their culture, long term goals and the pressures they navigate.
* Mentor and guide designers with generosity, clarity and ambition, helping them grow while maintaining high creative standards.
* Foster a collaborative, energised studio culture where positive disruption is encouraged.
* Manage pressure calmly and support others in doing the same.
* Partner closely with project management and account leadership to deliver work that is both creatively outstanding and commercially sound.
* Seek opportunities to grow client relationships and expand the agency’s influence.
