About the Role Were working with a leading independent water treatment company to recruit a Strategic Account Manager responsible for developing and expanding high-value data centre and industrial accounts across the North West region.
Youll be based in or near Manchester, using it as your hub while managing and developing strategic accounts across the wider territory.
This role is heavily sales-driven. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, while strategically growing existing key accounts.
There is no operational servicing responsibility your focus is purely commercial: relationship building, opportunity identification, and revenue generation.
Youll operate at senior stakeholder level within large industrial and data centre environments, positioning tailored water treatment solutions and long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans across the North West region
Target and secure new contracts within data centres and large industrial clients
Grow and maximise revenue within existing strategic accounts
Engage and influence senior decision-makers and procurement teams
Work closely with technical teams to develop compelling commercial proposals
Deliver against ambitious revenue and margin targets
Maintain strong market awareness within the data centre and industrial sectors
What Were Looking For
Proven track record in senior-level water treatment sales
Experience selling into data centres and/or large industrial environments
Strong commercial acumen with a hunter mentality
Based in or within commuting distance of Manchester
Demonstrable history of winning and developing major accounts
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a results-driven approach
Degree-level education in business, engineering, or a related field preferred
