Job Description
A quick snapshot of the role:
Commissioning & Decommissioning
* Install and commission equipment across multiple project locations
* Coordinate with customers to gather audit requirements
Technical Documentation & Troubleshooting
* Ensure all equipment documentation (manuals, BEPQM, tools/consumables references) is accessible and up to date
* Provide troubleshooting notices for recurring issues
Training & Customer Support
* Train operators, setters, QC inspectors, maintenance techs, and supervisors
* Provide training reports and certificates
* Train client teams on sample preparation, splice assembly, and e-ticketing
Level 3 Technical Support
* Respond to e-tickets and provide remote or on-site assistance
* Conduct Level 3 preventive maintenance
* Support equipment standardisation and upgrade deployments
* Produce detailed technical service reports
Operational Efficiency Monitoring
* Review on-site procedures and quality processes
* Assess cutting, forging, threading, and testing operations
* Monitor production output and recommend optimisations
What they’re looking for:
* Degree in Engineering or NVQ Level 3/4 (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, or similar)
* Experience in customer service, QC/inspection, or international project work (beneficial)
* Strong technical skills: Mechanical / Electrical / Automation / Hydraulics
* Confident communicator with solid IT skills (Microsoft Office)
* Happy to travel regularly within the region
