Role overview:
This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the gym, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and high standards of service, while managing a team and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including Health and Safety regulations and the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
Conduct regular safety checks and report any defects to maintain a safe environment.
Recruit, manage, and develop a team of Fitness Coaches and General Assistants to ensure operational coverage and service delivery.
Hold regular team meetings to promote development and communication.
Achieve set sales and membership targets and maximise secondary spend revenue.
Maintain the cleanliness of the gym facility to the highest standards, overseeing the work of in-house cleaners.
Manage weekly banking processes to minimise wastage and maximize profit.
Ensure all team members adhere to uniform and service standards.
Deliver outstanding member service and create a positive environment for staff and members.
Represent JD Gyms as an ambassador at all times.
