Qualified Accountant - Assistant Manager
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a well known, reputable Practice based in Newry as they look to recruit an Assistant Manager to join their management team.
The Company:
Our client is a well established Chartered Accountancy firm who pride themselves on the professional delivery of tax, accounting and audit services to their varied portfolio of clients.
As the successful Assistant manager, you will be responsible for:
* Reporting to Senior managers & directors
* Supporting the senior management team in delivering accounting and tax services to clients
* Supervise junior staff with tax returns, bookkeeping etc
* Assist with workflow management
* Assist with prep of financial statements&reports
* Accounts prep to high standard
As the successful Assistant Manager, you will be:
* ACA / ACCA qualified (newly qualified and above)
* Qualified by experience (QBE) also considered
* Ideally from a general practice background
* Confident in identifying and raising issues with clients proactively
* Experience managing a portfolio of clients
* Skilled in reviewing work of junior team members
* Able to demonstrate strong communication and IT skills
